Bajaj Auto said that the company will launch a four wheeler vehicle independent of Nissan-Renault joint venture, reports Economic Times.
It also said that the capex for the current fiscal will remain same and there will be no change.
Recently, the company announced a 31% fall in two and three wheelers sales for the month of October 2008. The company reported a fall in motorcycles sales by 34% to 163,850 units in October 2008 against October 2007 sales of 248,307 units.
Shares of the company declined Rs 12.9, or 3.49%, to trade at Rs 357. The total volume of shares traded was 5,841 at the BSE (1.51 p.m., Monday).
