NEW DELHI: General Motors (GM) India, a wholly-owned subsidiary of US carmaker General Motors Corp, Thursday launched a new Chevrolet model here.
"The new Chevrolet U-VA brings superlative value and additional safety, security and luxury to our customers," said GM India vice president P Balendran at the launch.
"We will continue to roll out new products and also revitalise our existing line-up to create new excitement in the market," he added.
Moving from its base model, the car comes with additional features such as wider windscreen, driver airbag with anti-brake locking system, keyless entry with burglar alarm, leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob, split-folding rear seats, and deco moulding on the instrument panel and door trims.
Launched as a part of the company's centenary year celebration, the vehicle was unveiled by its brand ambassador and Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan. The car is being promoted with a "Bada Dil Badi Car" tag.
