Eicher Motors to hike prices of bikes
Eicher Motors on Monday, August 25 announced that it will hike prices of three of its `Royal Enfield` motorbike models starting from September 1, due to increase in the costs of raw material, reports Economic times.

Eicher Motors registered a steep drop of 37.65% in net profits of Rs 69.40 million for the quarter ended in June 2008 from a profit of Rs 111.30 million for the quarter ended in June 2007.

Net sales rose 15.86% to Rs 5379.80 million for the quarter ended June 2008 from Rs 4643.50 million for the quarter ended June 2007.
