Sometimes, we wish we lived in America. Not always, but sometimes. Like when we discover that the Corvette ZR1 will cost $103,300 to those living stateside.
That's about £52,000... for a 620bhp V8 that'll hit 60mph in just 3.4 seconds, 100mph in seven dead and not top out until 203mph.
What do we get for 50 grand over here? A BMW M3? A well-specced Cayman S? OK, they're both good cars... but we want 620bhp. And we want it now.
And don't go thinking that, should a few ZR1s make it to our shores, that they'll actually cost £52,000. Even the measly Z06 - 498bhp? We laugh at 498bhp - costs £62 grand, so you're looking at 70-plus to get your hands on GM's most powerful car ever.
And that's before you've specified the chrome wheels. Which you will.
